How we make and fit sliding doors
Four steps, from the first measurement to the hand-over.
Step 1: Measure the opening
We measure the width and height and check the floor and lintel.
Step 2: Made in our workshop
Frames and panels are made and glazed in Montague Gardens.
Step 3: Installed and set
We fit the frame and set the panels so they run smoothly.
Step 4: Cleaned up
We clear the site before we leave.

What's the difference between sliding and stacking doors?
Sliding panels move past each other, so part of the opening stays covered. Stacking or folding panels fold back to one side, so almost the whole width can open.
Can you close in my patio?
Yes. We close in patios and verandas with aluminium frames and glass, with doors that slide or fold open.
My sliding door is hard to open. Can you fix it?
Usually, yes. We repair and replace tracks, rollers, wheels and locks. See repairs and glass.
Which colours are available?
Our recent sliding and stacking doors have been white and black. Ask us about other colours when we quote.
